orb
Dear support team, I started the OrbxFTXAUSP4200.exe, the Wrapper checked my registration successfully and then the installer checked the FSX environment. Then nothing happend. It seems that the unwrapped data is on my windows drive and no data is written to my fsx directory. The "Orbx - FTX: Australia SP4 Wrapper is still running" and I haven't clicked on "Finish" because there seems to be a problem. What can I do? Thanks in advance
orb
The install failure is still present, but I want to add some more information. Now I have run the unwrapped setup program from the temp folder. Exactly the "FTX Australia Setup" says: Preparing to Install... Checking file conditions... And then the setup program is down without installing anything. By the way: Can somebody please tell me - what are the HD requirements for a complete installation of Australia SP4? best regards
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi orb, sorry to hear of your problem there, assuming that you have Windows 7 as your OS, the unwrapper needs at least 10 G of free disc space to expand all files and run the process for the unwrapper, also make sure that you have Administrator rights and that User Account Control is switched OFF in case of any active Virusscanner program disable that for fsX and if it causes problems during the install. orb
Thank you Wolter for the information regarding the needed free disc space. I had to free up some space and now the installer installs. So the user was the problem. best regards
