tango77red Posted March 8, 2013 Share Posted March 8, 2013 Downloaded and ran Wales for the first time yesterday, and of course it is another SUPERB product by the team ! Decided to run the directx 10 preview for the first time and found that my frame rate whilst sitting on the runway and panning around, rose from an average of 16fps to 25fps. However one strange anomoly is that the grass at the side of the runway turns into what looks like cardboard cutouts of tall bushes ! Despite switching backwards and forwards from directx 9 to 10 with several restarts the same problem persists. All other aspects of the scenery are fine..... Has anyone else experienced this? My system spec is: AMD fx8350 CPU Radeon HD7970 3Gb DDR5 video card 16 Gb Corsair 1600 memory 2 x 2 Tb seagate 7200 hard drives Saitek stick and throttle I love the increased framerates under dx10 but can't put up with grass that morphs into bushes !!!
