gredes
How do you go about making up a new dplsplash for FSX. I have lots of good screen shots and would like to make a new start up screen with some of them. I know there must be a few people who would know how. Like most of you out there, have a basic knowledge of photoshop but I cant get the MSFx wording to go over the top of my screenshot. Is there a simple way of doing it, preferably with a easier program.
Tim Harris
Its very easy Just select a picture you like, resize to about 800X600, save as a .BMP, rename it to dlgsplash Then drop it into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Uires Backup your original dlgsplash.bmp first, if you want to keep it In Photoshop, to put text over your picture it is also very easy just open up your picture, select text, drag a box over the area you want the text to go, type away, save as a .BMP.. make sure to have the text layer active when saving you can also just use the place function to import another picture\GIF like the MSFSX logo onto your background hope that helps
