Cornish Pastie
Hi I downloaded and installed the new service pack for EU England, loaded up at an airfield and wondered why there were no longer any buildings there, i thought this issue may be specific to the airfield i started of at (EGBP) so reloaded at a few new airfields to find the same issue, all the off airport scenery (trees, buildings ect) are all fine. Also when flying across the Severn estuary i found the cars driving on the water (No bridge?) I re-installed the service pack, restarted my computer, re-indexed my scenery library, but with no success. Any ideas
Paul Webster
Hi, can you install the latest version of the orbxlibs (http://www.fullterrain.com/support.html - bottom of the page) and retest as some of the library files were moved. if that doesn't fix it can you post a screenshot of one of the airports so i can see exactly what's missing. Wolter van der Spoel
Did you installed the SP with FTX Central set to EU ? if so the that would have switched FTX Central back to default fsX after the install, so you need to switch back to EU again to activate the scenery also wen done with that install the latest Libraries 130125 files from the support page and you should be fine albeit any other issue on your system
Cornish Pastie
After a fresh install of England, followed by sp1, followed by Libraries 130125, sadly no luck, still no buildings The current active region in FTX central is England. Paul Webster
Hi, can you see if you have these 2 files please "Orbxlibs_EU_UK_airport_objects.BGL" and "orbxlibs_EU_UK_airport_objects2.BGL" they will be located here "YOUR-FSX-FOLDER\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS\Scenery\" Also what airport is that in the pic? Cornish Pastie
Yes both those files are present in the folder, and the airfield in the photo is brize norton (EGVN) Callum
Paul Webster
ok another file to check "FTX_ENG_EGVN_objects.bgl" its located here "YOUR-FSX-FOLDER\ORBX\FTX_EU\FTX_EU_ENG_05_SCENERY\scenery\" also do you have any other addon's? Cornish Pastie
Yes that files there as well, in terms of add-ons i don't have any scenery wise other than ORBX PNW and CRM. The problem is also not confined to this area, but across the whole of England, and has only happened since the service pack was installed? Thanks Callum
Paul Webster
ok, can you try a few more bits for me. 1. set FTX Central to "Default" and then back to "Europe", do this twice then close FTX Central and test again. 2. set FTX Central to "PNW" and check one of there airports 3. if none of the above works re-install England and orbxlibs but not SP1 is the error still there? Cornish Pastie
1. still no buildings 2. buildings at airport 3. buildings back however now (3) there seems to be part of the sp1, such as the rural roads now have the soft green outline, so i think something may have worked? Paul Webster
Hi, I will discuss with some others and do some testing tomorrow as i can't replicate your problem here, so for the minute don't install SP1. Paul

Wolter van der Spoel
just some small inquisitive questions from me do you have you fsX install in the default location or on a separate drive or partition? did you place any ORBX-FTX files on another location other than ....\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX ? do you have your User Account Control switched off ? did you disable any Viruscanning program during installation?
