Chandy
I was wondering if it is possible to stream the picture on your computer monitor to your TV set while flying with FSX at the computer station (so the picture appeared in both locations). I think this would be useful on long haul flights where you could relax on the lounge with the auto-pilot engaged and watch from a more comfortable spot, say for a bit of time out from the controls, yet still mentally engaged. If it can be done does anyone know how? Cables would have to be about 12 feet or more at my place so I was thinking either a cable arrangement (including an HDMI in the posiiblities) or remote/wi-fi set-up. I currently use two digital monitors (primary and secondary) with my computer so the TV would have to be set up as an extra add-on. My TV is a digital LED set w/backlighting. Any techies out there who know how to do this? Reards, John G
Coubs
I used to do that when I played games that use the xbox pad. I would imagine it's still possible but I used to have the two cables attached to the same GPU and just tell the software to mirror screen 1 to screen 2. Unfortunately I can't test it with FSX as my TV is now my computer screen.
Derek McAllan
Attach your TV to your PC via HDMI, set the multi-monitor mode to clone the display, and you're good to go. Cheers, Derek
