Stewart Cumbers
Hi I've installed ftx eng which looks amazing. I only have a few issues. When flying around London and other areas there doesn't seem to be alot of buildings. toriu
It will depend on where the Autogen slider is set in the FSX scenery options.

Stewart Cumbers
Thanks Only reason I've posted as someone else on another website I use has more buildings etc. only thing I can think of it I used to have Vfr London x which I unstalled ages ago and maybe it not removed everything so when I installed ftx it never installed properly
toriu
Stewart, Yes you have something amiss. I just fired up FSX and flew over the same area and it was well covered with buildings. the other possibility is FTX Central not switched to UE. My sliders are also set to max. Nyxx
It's look to me that you PC can not load it, to much for it to handle.
Nyxx
Try Turning Auto gen down and also if possable turn fps down, Try Auto gen Normal and 20 fps. Less can be more. Just had my first look at london to see how it looks, I think you took off from Heathrow 09L? If thats PMDG 747 thats taking a big chunk of you FPS right there. All Max setting

toriu
I meant EU (England). Are you using FSX on a laptop?
Stewart Cumbers
yes ive made sure that the ftx central has selected Europe and applied. Ive also ran the installer as admin etc ive played around with the sliders etc and got better results now but not 100% sure if it is perfect now
StormVR6
Stewart, are you running FSX on the laptop you have in your signature? If you are then you are going to have to make considerable compromises in your settings. Don't expect too much.
