Lepres
Have been on a buying spree for FTX ... just bought and downloaded NZNI (just after NZSI and PFJ), did some mountain flying and just love it. With these I now have all FTX regions except for CRM and NRM, plus a number of FTX airports. If everything goes right, may just possibly eventually buy up ALL of FTX ! Some observations here though -- have done some city flying and noted that trying to VFR over large towns can be a challenge, as roads were all over and appear not in sync with real world ones (and often cut and lay across buildings !). These towns' cut-n-paste over landscapes also tends to distract from the make-believe world. Question is, when doing VFR over large towns, how does one navigate by roads? Or are roads/highways valid only when in between towns? Rivers and lakes are a lot better, though some river segments could disappear for a stretch, only to reappear again further down. By the way, looking into each region's Google Earth, I notice there are numerous mark-out polygons in green, what are these? Do they mean anything?
