freddy
It is apparent that the static aircraft use the parking spots assigned in the AFCADs. Question: How does the ORBX software (or FSX itself) determine which parking spots to place the static planes on? A few times in NZ, I have had Traffic X AI planes appearing directly on top of static aircraft ... (or perhaps it's the other way around, the static aircraft are appearing on top of the AI planes). In other words, static planes and AI planes are parked in the same parking spot as each other. Perhaps this is something that I can adjust (the order of things) in the FSX Scenery Library? Edward Boyte
Could you please tell us the airports that have static aircraft on top of the AI?
freddy
I've only noticed it happen a handful of times. Taupo (NZAP) was one of the airports. Parking spots 8 and 10 to be specific. I cannot recall the others. Do you want me to make a note of these when (if?) I notice them again? In a similar vain, I have chosen parking spot 10 at NZAP for my OWN aircraft, only to have a static plane already parked there ... result ... object crash. Here are two screenshots: Screenshot 1 = Object crash with my own aircraft and a static aircraft. Screenshot 2 = AI plane parked on top of static plane (circled).
