Squibs44 Posted May 15, 2012 Share Posted May 15, 2012 That's a great shot - I really like the way that the mountains in the Marlborough Sounds show through the clouds. I have done that flight many times (I live in Wellington and have family in Nelson) as a passenger in a Sounds Air Cessna C208B Grand Caravan and also in an Air New Zealand Bombardier Q300 and I can confirm that the sounds are amazing. I've also been reading a lot lately about the history of aviation in New Zealand using the De Haviland twin-engined bi-planes, so your picture means a lot to me.
