Markon Posted May 5, 2012 Share Posted May 5, 2012 Another Lord of the Rings movie location from the movie Fellowship of the Ring, Skippers Canyon just to the west of the track between Queenstown and Wanaka. From a pilot’s perspective, down and dirty in the weeds. Not really the optimum aircraft for canyon running. This is the location where the scene in was shot in which Arwen summons a flood to defeat the Nazgul.
