matg Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 I would like to know if anybody else has this problem? when just pasing top of decent on either ga or tube liner i frequently get a crash to desktop message saying 'out of available memory' this occurs about 70% of the time i have tried moving the sliders to the left with no avail.My computer is quad66 at 3.2 2gbddr2 and gx2 grafics any help would be much apprieciated. spak Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 i remember a while ago that there was an OOM (out of memory) problem i think with FSX and there was a fix for it which i think was from Microsoft. petejohno Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 I am not sure what is going on. My FSX has been very stable and all of a sudden I am getting the CTD as well. I have used the OOM fix for a while and have never had a problem until now. As I dont know the source of the problem, I am not sure if it is FSX or windows that is the culprit. It only appears to happen to me when I use FEX clouds regardless of the resolution, although they may just be overloading my system.
