Taph Posted December 28, 2011 Author Share Posted December 28, 2011 Thanks, did the route for real but not by air, stayed in Takaka then Collingwood then on a converted 4 ton truck as far as the lighthouse on the end of the spit. The tide and wind have a huge affect on the beach and the dunes they last a truck that got stuck and sunk, luckily not while we were there, at the end of the spit is a huge gannet colony Taph Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
