5055100597
So say you model an airport, and release it. Then, after several months, the real-world airport's runway is resurfaced or repaved, perhaps the threshold is changed, you get the idea. Would you guys make an update for the said airport so that it is up-to-date with the newly changed runway? Or what if a major hangar or building was torn-down, burned, or replaced? Would or could those be changed? Or if there were a forest fire on teh edge of teh runway per-say, would you put dead trees there for an update? mjrhealth
The question is would you be willing to pay for it ?? It all takes time and money and people. And no i dont work for ORBX
Alex Goff
Small updates make sense if the airport is being patched anyways. Larger adjustments could mean quite a bit of time changing up the airport.
Tim Harris
No, When an airport is released it is a snap-shot of that airport at a given time, normally a mix of when the aerial imagery was taken, and when the ground level photos where taken, its a little bit like how FSX itself is a snapshot of the world in 2006, continually updating it to match its real-world counterpart would require you to continually pay for it Cheers Tim
