Delare Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 This was a tough one. Narrabri was totally surrounded of fog. The visibility was probably only a few metres! I used the world map within FSX to navigate to the airport, but time after time I missed the airport, this mostly because I couldn't even see it! The weather conditions wouldn't have allowed aircraft in real life to land, maybe with autoland, but it's pretty impossible to land a plane without programming the approach into the GPS. After flying around the airport for a long time, I took the decision, the aircraft had to come down. I found a clear field and landed the aircraft.
