5055100597 Posted August 22, 2011 Share Posted August 22, 2011 I took a little adventure in my Cub (Accusim of course), from Darrington (and in these pictures) to Lake Wenachee State Airport. I didn't knwo where i was going, I just started following the river, and it was a blast! It took my 45mins to traverse that great peak, I ended up landing in one of the 'bowls' (as we skiiers call it) so I cool turn the plane around, takeoff and flow over a lower ridge (I misjudged my flight path). Problem with where you and I live is, we have to watch out with fog more than anything! I'm in Ventura, CA. I spend lots of time with family in Santa Cruz; you know of Carmel Valley Airport?
