I took a little adventure in my Cub (Accusim of course), from Darrington (and in these pictures) to Lake Wenachee State Airport. I didn't knwo where i was going, I just started following the river, and it was a blast! It took my 45mins to traverse that great peak, I ended up landing in one of the 'bowls' (as we skiiers call it) so I cool turn the plane around, takeoff and flow over a lower ridge (I misjudged my flight path). It was great fun, and I'm figuring out what river to follow next!

Watch out for those box canyons with rising terrain. Got me in trouble once. Nice shots!

Problem with where you and I live is, we have to watch out with fog more than anything! I'm in Ventura, CA. I spend lots of time with family in Santa Cruz; you know of Carmel Valley Airport?
