soulmaril
Hi, After I have installed PNW Na Blue, the land textures gone crazy. The land and soil is black around my aircraft. The top down view is weird. It is not limited with PNW but it effects whole world and surroundings around my aircraft anywhere. Any ideas?
Wolter van der Spoel
did you install the latest library files after your install ? ...............
soulmaril
did you install the latest library files after your install ? ............... Yes I did. This is how it looks from top down view. After I made an obsessed research. I found this. The original scenery.cfg file has this. ------------------------------ [Area.001] Title=Default Terrain Texture_ID=1 Local=Scenery\World Layer=1 Active=TRUE Required=TRUE ------------------------------ ...and after I install PNW it become like this. ------------------------------ [Area.001] Title=Default Terrain Local=Scenery\World Layer=1 Active=TRUE Required=TRUE ------------------------------ AS you see the Texture_ID=1 is missing and when it is missing the textures goes black. I manualy insert the line back to scenery.cfg and then the problem is solved. The problem also resurrects when if I switch back to default FSX and renable North America from FTX Central. The question is why it is happening to me?
skeleton
What is your RAM capcity? You may be out of memory; I had this problem at YSCB.
soulmaril
What is your RAM capcity? You may be out of memory; I had this problem at YSCB. It is 8 GB. But as I tried to explain earlier it is not about RAM or any hardware, it is about the scenery.cfg file. I already find the problem and the solution but why it is only me. I add the line and it is working perfect now.

Ian Routley
Hi soulmaril, Nice detective work ... we'll have to see whether this has anything to do with FTX Central, and if so, why it has happened. Thanks for the report and update.

Wolter van der Spoel
Hi Alp, I know there where some issues with people that had Turkish fs X installs, the solution at the time was this: check that the scenery.cfg has the following settings located at : C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX open with notepad edit where needed and do not forget to save before exiting [Area.001] Title=Default Terrain Local=Scenery\World Texture_ID=1 Layer=1 Active=TRUE Required=TRUE let us know if that did resolve your issue
FLYER570
Thanks very much for the solution. In my case, after installing FTX Global Base. Ataturk Airport was in total mess like runways were in the middle of the sea. After editing the scenere.cfg file it resolved the problem. Thanks again for this great solution.
