dmrich28
I know I saw the answer before but...is there a way to have just the instrument lights on and not the dome light in Russ's re-done Mooney? Also, I'm itching for a new utility or plane been a few weeks any quick suggestions? Thanks all, Dave
Matthew Webb
That would be nice. I tried to figure that out myself without any luck....
squeeker
You could just delete the entry for the cockpit dome light in the aircracft.cfg file. It will get pretty dark in there though!!! Back-up, proceed at your own peril etc... Maybe someone knows a way to "dim down" the dome light, rather than removing it completely? This is a sample of my aircraft.cfg file (i have shockwave lights installed) [lights] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0 = 3, -2.65, -17.73, 1.73, Fx_shockwave_navred light.1 = 3, -2.65, 17.73, 1.73, Fx_shockwave_navgre light.2 = 4, -3.22, 0, 1.80, Fx_shockwave_vclight light.3 = 2, -2.9, -17.83, 1.7, Fx_shockwave_strobe light.4 = 2, -2.9, 17.83, 1.7, Fx_shockwave_strobe light.5 = 5, 4, .75, .4, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_old//Shockwave Light Here's what it looks like with and without the dome light: With: Without (too dark for me \) Steve
