Aidan Sandri
This is the 2nd time ive downloaded the YBBN patch. Everytime the download completes, and I try to unzip the file (using WinZip) I get an error message saying; Some Data in your zip file is damage - CRC check failed. I havent opened the zip while its downloaded, so im not sure why this is occuring. Ive downloaded it from the Euro (mirror 3) severer. I do have a GB quota which we struggle to maintain each month so I cannot contnuie to download such a big patch multiple times. What do you think this issue could be? Ian Routley
There have been a couple of issues with Winzip lately. Logic would suggest that is most likely, if you've repeated the download. Perhaps unzip it with 7zip and see how you go?
Jay Kae
Whenever you have a CRC check error, it is never ever ever a good idea to just download it again, here are some steps 1) Delete what you downloaded 2) Clear the cache of the browser you used 3) Clear your temp files 4) Reboot your computer 5) Reboot your modem 6) Download it again
Aidan Sandri
7zip said the same thing, but unzipped it anyway. I ran the installer, and it gets to about 6% and says: YBBN Brisbane Airport v1.2 patch has not been totally installed because of the following reasons: Orbx\FTX_AU\FTXAA_YBBN\Scenery\Temp\0_YBBN_15cm.bgl: The file contains invaild data (error 11FD) You will have to run this utility again to completley install YBBN Brisbane Airport v1.2 Patch. EDIT: Just saw what Jay posted - will try that.
Ian Routley
Just to confirm ... I have downloaded the file (same link as you have access to) Unzips with 7Zip 32bit, on laptop in about 5 seconds, no issues. A few suggestions above to try!
