Old Archie
After what seems like a couple of years, I reinstalled the old PMDG 747X yesterday and took a quick flight from YMML up to Canberra. What a joy! The really heavy iron is sometimes very exciting, something I had forgotten. Here is a couple of shots of Speedbird 144 hitting the tarmac in a most satisfying way. Enjoy!
Hugh Johnston
Great shots Dale. I love breaking out the heavy iron every now and then. It is very satisfying landing something big
Horatio
Beauties Archie, I love the Queen myself and fly it much more than anything else I've got. It is a hog is some ways but sooo accurately modelled system wise..

It is a hog is some ways but sooo accurately modelled system wise.. The funny thing is, I think that after all this time, my system upgrades have finally caught up to the 747X, I flew her out of Melbourne V2 and I swear the frames were smoother than some of my latest payware offerings. Horatio
I agree.. on my system it runs much smoother with better frame rates than the Captain sim 757 which I hardly ever fly..

niebieski
Pure awesomeness! Great aircraft. Spent hundreds of hours in this plane, and propably twice the time with it's fuel/trip planning charts My longest flight was Manchester (EGCC) - Kuala Lumpur (WMKK) online on VATSIM. Flying airliners is something i've put on the shelf some time ago, but your screens make me want to go back
