ptgar1 Posted July 8, 2008 Share Posted July 8, 2008 G'day all, just in the final process of buying my new rig, but I have one more step to go: So far I have bought: Q6600 CPU Sapphire Radeon HD4870 512MB GPU Coolmaster Case w/ 700W power OCZ Platinum 4GB Kit (2x2G) DDR2 1066 RAM Now I'm tossing up between G-B EP45-DS4P OR G-B X38-DQ6 Now, I would rather buy the X38 as it seems the better card, but I am not sure whether it will support my DDR2 RAM? Also, could anyone inform me about how the 4870 Radeon card runs FSX? I read on tomshardware that it may struggle, but then on the charts it looks to better the 9800GTX+ ?
