Derek McAllan Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 G'day all, Been a bloody long time since I posted a decent set, so I guess this is me kicking off for 2011. Haven't had a whole lot of time for FSX lately even if I do slavishly follow the goings on around here Anyways, this evening's flight takes place near Two Rocks, to the north of Perth in West Oz, in the venerable C172. I was feeling a bit inspired after watching the sunset this evening, the hot muggy weather we're having does make for some beautiful sunsets here. So, I fired up Open Clouds for the FSX real weather equivalent, just to see if I could get something comparable. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised! Skipping my usual narration, this set can speak for itself... Am trying to get a bit of airtime back, especially as I've barely used my new flight controls (I bought some Saitek pedals and the X-52 FCS) except for flying circuits around Cunderdin.
