Delare
The logbook within FSX isn't very good. So I wondered if there is any programs or such that can help you log your flights? I mainly want to log my flying hours but also how many miles. When making a flightplan in FSX, I've seen that the navlog gives an incorrect value of how many nautical miles the flight actually is. If there isn't any such programs, please tell me how you log your flights, mainly how you log how many miles you've flown. The time I can always achieve with a stopwatch

Delare
That looks like a great program! Does it get the different details automatically from FSX like the FSX logbook, or will you have to input every detail manually?
Maurice_King
FS Flight Keeper is SOoo good since it can take snapshots, record EVERYTHING and out put to a HTML for a trip Sheet and Web Site

Delare
So for now, which is the best way to log your miles in FSX?
Maurice_King
Well that is relatively simple procedure. First you use the logbook facility built into Flight Sim to obtain you flight times, then average your Unit Time (Tach) vs your Logged flight Time and multiply this out by your cruise speed v.s your Charts distances. It's all mathematics really, T/D = S : S x D = T : Pressure Alt * Wind = CGS
