alexf Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 Flew my shiny new A2A Spit from Tamworth to Williamtown Military. Beautiful landfing but a few seconds before touchdown, the runway disappeared from view and I landed on grass. I believe it might be a texture altitude issue. It was visible on short final and I was pointing to the numbers until about 2 feet over, then it's gone. Probably it was by then a foot or so below the surrounding grass. All other textures work fine in Australia. FTX Central is set to Australia. Notice this only happened to the runway. The apron and parking spots were fine. Any ideas?
