Actually I couldn't qualify when the LSO handed me the ball. I do have a habit of not dumping the speed until close to touchdown, first flaps and gear were not engaged yet in the picture. The fields that I fly out of in the east have a habit of clearing too many for final and than sending half the fleet around for another try. So a number of us land clean, not taking gear and flaps until just before touchdown. Certainly adds to the Thrill of Flight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
