Lancair Battery Master Switch

Gents,

First up congratulations on the excellent Lancair, first of many goodies hopefully.

Couple of questions if I may? Had a quick search on here and in the POH/UG and didn't see anything obvious.

What systems are supposed to be "live" with the Battery Master Switch off?  I get Landing lights, Panel Lights ok with the battery master off. No Nav or Strobe though unless Batt master is on.  Is that correct?

Also for the hydraulics and no power (battery master off and engine off) flaps and speedbrakes (are the speedbrakes electrically driven?) work ok for a couple of cycles, gradually draining pressure from the system. However I've noticed if the flaps are fully extended with zero pressure holding F5 makes them return to the retracted position?  An FSX modeling feature?  :)

All tested at the excellent freeware ORBX YRED with the Lancair chosen on the FSX startup page (i.e. not switched to it after loading)

Thanks

James

P.S. looking forward to the results of the maturing partnership with PMDG  ;D
