moonman
Actually i doubt that sharks in general would ever swim or fly that far to the north... but somehow that one wanted to... The trip took place on several days - Taking off from Sitka and then southwards to CYPR Prince Rupert, where finally some great evening flights into some cold, but absolutely great and fine scenery and wonderful sky took place!!! Have fun and enjoy!! Out of Sitka ... Matthew Kane
You are correct Moonman. It would be very rare for a shark to venture that far north. By that I mean Marine Animals and that aircraft. But the Aircraft looks fantastic up there, right at home really. Great shots

Mallard
Stunning pictures. I´m sure you smuggled a real one in there, however - number 5 is just too realistic... Cheers Mallard

The salmon shark for example swims into Alaska every year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmon_shark . Nice pics!
Dexter Dog
Yep, plenty of sharks of different species in all of the world's oceans! But it was a special treat to see this shark in your great pics!
moonman
Thank You all very, very much for Your replies - and - if possible: please stay in the air and keep on flying rather than swimming in waters where sharks live!! the moonman Stunning pictures. I´m sure you smuggled a real one in there, however - number 5 is just too realistic... Cheers Mallard hello Mallard!! to be honest... i rather mind coming too close to sharks in real life - but "number 5" really appeared in my FSX as shown above here - and i agree with You: i was also really very, very surprised... could not really believe for myself that it would look that good... sure, i did add some contrast to make it look a little more crisp due to the fact that i am not that satisfied with my pc´s graphics-resulutions ... but with some EMB settings and with REX and ORBX installed... what can there go wrong anyway ... the moonman and: here is the link to the picture at OZx Image Hosting without any edit: http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/view.php?filename=465Sharky.jpg You are correct Moonman. Thank You for the information here Jayturf!! i also really thought that sharks-habitat would overall only be found at waters that provide moderate temperatures all over the year... now i know better! and - concerning the salmon shark in special: allthough i would mind an encounter with one in real life ... it is good to read that - at least as stated in the wiki-article posted here by You - the salmon-shark does not seem to be - as so many of his fellows - on the brink of extinction due to overfishing or pollution - really hope that this will stay that way in the future!! the moonman
