Emmsie is very happy with the frame rate i get around here i have everything ticked in the control panel except perimeter fence and crosswind runway and my FSX settings are Level of detail radius full, Mesh complexaty full, Water effect mid 2x, Scenery complexity Extremely dense, Autogen density Extremely dense, Special effects detail high, Airline traffic 45%, General aviation traffic 45%, Airport vehicle low. As you can see the frames differ depending on where you are at the time but im more than happy with these frames and a smooth ride something i could not get with version 1 well done chaps for making this great scenery.

Hello Iain Emms!!

Thank You for the pictures and the information about the frames... but - i do have a question...

Emmsie is very happy with the frame rate i get around here i have everything ticked in the control panel except perimeter fence and crosswind runway and my FSX settings are Level of detail radius full, Mesh complexaty full ...

...sorry if it may sound a bit silly but i just really don´t know:

Is the impact of "mesh density" a huge one when it comes down to FPS - or is it - let´s say - an overall "ignorable" factor, that - overall - doesn´t really hit FPS badly?

have a nice flight, moonman

Hello John!

Mesh complexity does not affect FPS.

Iain can get an extra 5-7 FPS just by reducing his autogen slider to 'Dense' though. But I expect he's happy with the full Monty at these frame rates :)

Thank You very much for the reply - thought that way, now i know for sure :D !! Fine!!

Keep up the Great Work!!

Sure am John ;D ;D ;D

Iain

Great shots Iain, have you try a cockpit view at landing.....you should get the same FPS.....the killer is a view of the airport at one > two miles from it.....or fly from the big city going to the airport, doing that my FPS drop a little (28 > 35 for me)

Keep them coming...I agree with you Orbx did a good job with YMML and YBBN....now they just have to use texture flow all over their scenery...
