An early start to the day at Squamish airport, parked up with all pre flight checks done.

Will be a 230 mile flight South to Astoria Regional Airport in Oregan

We depart to the North then make a sharp turn left Southwards of Squamish and head out Horse Shoe Bay BC into the Strait of Georgia

Some very dynamic and un predictable weather coming in fast!.. Gonna have to keep all my senses in check and try and skim just under these clouds at 4'000ft

As dawn is breaking on what horizon we can see, we begin to pass Vancouver

...and Southwards accross the Strait of Georgia on the Canadian side

Passing over Victoria, still some cloud, but we gonna have to start climbing through it now...

Because as we pass Port Angeles Coast Guard Air Station, Mountains are gonna come up fast as we near Olympic National Park

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/8398.jpg

Some nasty weather ahead and the Mountains to clear safely, gonna take it to 10'000 ft and watch for icing through those clouds

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/47110.jpg

Safely at 10'000 ft

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/78011.jpg

Start to decend down to 4'000 ft as the Mountains have past... we cross over Highway 12

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/37712.jpg

Very bumpy on the way down, gonna take her down below those clouds to get a visual as we near our destination. Just gonna keep East of Highway 101

Gear down and slow her right down as we near our approach.. crossing the Washington/Oregan state line

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/59215.jpg

Lined up with the runway and nice n slow, approaching at 300fpm

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/33816.jpg

Safely down after a slightly bumpy landing
