Recently I bought the A2A P-47. Wow. I'm impressed and have flown it almost exclusively for the past week in a tour of Australia down the East Coast.

Some shots:

Landing is my problem at the moment. Gets way off center (off-runway really) easily on the cross winds. Also hard to slow down to be able to lower some flaps. Once gear comes down it really sinks and needs to add power. Trying to improve landings. Tough.

Love the use of extra tanks for long runs and fuel management. Sounds are the best I've heard in any aircraft. At the moment it is my fav a/c.

I am getting all available paints for multiuser flights, but have not had the chance to find another user online yet. Been flying online a lot but have to switch to Dodo 206, Tecnam Sierra or A2A Cub to have everybody see the planes, which I much prefer.

Not having too much fuel (i.e. weight) on landing helps a lot, but I generally find it easier to come in hugher than normal than normal, descend quite fast and flare to land. Too much weight, with too much drag from the undercarriage with limited visibilty makes a low glide slope very tricky. Ca't say I've mastered it myself though, I simply don't fly it often enough TBH.  :)

glad to see you're enjoying yourself!

I usually come in relatively high, and more or less fly it onto the runway, but it can be a bit of a handful...

with gear and flaps down, it's easy to lose speed and you drop like a brick if you're too slow..
