John Lovell Posted September 23, 2010 Share Posted September 23, 2010 What turned out to be a short hop from Hervey Bay has now turned into a mini tour of Australia... gonna see how far South I can continue and then who knows where from there. Anyways, last instalment of pictures saw me making a short flight with the Cub from Caloundra Bay to Redcliffe with an engine cutting out on me half way! This very short hop also will involve the Cub (engine now serviced) and will be from Redcliffe to Brisbane Int, where I will leave the Cub for the next long journey after Brisbane. Time to climb aboard after a thorough check of the plane, making sure nothing will cut out on me this time Not much speed needed to get this bird in the air... she takes off gracefully and reaches for the sky leaving Redcliffe behind Crossing the Coral Sea bay, it becomes obvious this area is also busy with ships [img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/7962010_9_22_20_39_9_892.jpg Gonna head for the GA runway in the right of the picture. My next journey will continue onward South to an airfield nearly 300 miles away. Gonna need something faster for this one!
