Wedge
Is there a power cord in the box or is that something that users purchase optionally to run high-powered USB devices? Feeling like I have been shafted via eBay and just need to find out how badly...
MarkH
Is there a power cord in the box or is that something that users purchase optionally to run high-powered USB devices? There is no power adapter supplied, and you don't need one.
Wedge
Thanks for the reply. The yoke was advertised as new and in original packaging... It arrived sans manual, disc etc and in a postbox. The LCD is flickering all the time. Really unhappy about this, first issue I have had buying from ebay. TenBlade
It seems you haven´t received exactly what was advertized. I´d return it if possible. Bjorn
Remko
Hmmmm I bought mine new and also have issues with the display - started with flickering and now no longer working. Maybe should have returned it too.
TenBlade
Can´t you return it? Up here in the cold North, by law, we got two years warranty on electronics. Bjorn
Maurice_King
The Saitek yoke draws less than 150Ma from the USB Socket BUT is it My belief that ALL devices like controller's etc with the exception of Keyboard and Mouse should be run from a Powered USB Hub. On the other hand, you've got everything you need and the LCD flicker happens to many people's yokes eventually. It's why mine has tape stuck over it! TenBlade
Yeah, could be taped up, though mine doesn´t flicker, I never look at it anyway Bjorn
Wedge
Probably more the fact that I was lied to and would not have paid as much had I known what state it was in that ticks me off. Dispute launched through PayPal though, so we'll see what happens.

TenBlade
Been using the same driver for a long time with no problems. Have had problems with newer drivers. But, doesn´t matter, the card has to go :'( B
ryanbatc
I never buy from eBay - too much shadiness for my liking. I will however buy from Amazon - never had an issue.

Maurice_King
I'll forgive you drivers and various integration software drive us all bonker's eventually.
