dmrich28
Hi all, Just a question I thought of.. Is there a reason that the regions you are releasing done the way they are (area boundaries)? ie: "Blue" takes parts of Western Aust, Taz, Victoria, etc... Why not release the regions as the actual named areas in real life? ie: Taz region, Victoria region etc.. Sorry was just wondering.. is it because different textures in same "region" would be too time consuming? thanks, Dave
John Hockings
They basically match Australian climatic zones, which means that the same native vegetation, agriculture, built environment and so on is common across those zones. Blue is temperate (or mediterranean) Gold is subtropical, Green tropical and so on, approximately. Hope that helps... Prof
Geoffman
Have a look at a satellite map of Australia that shows vegetation etc, and it will all become clear as to why the regions are broken up as they are. (Well that's my theory anyway). As for the names, blue is for the cold bits, gold is for the best bits, green is for the tropical bits, and red is for the red deserty bits. (Once again my theory)
