Blitzer
Setting out... Looks like it's going to be a nice day... A great aircraft to fly... Excellent views... Weather getting worse, low cloud and brisk winds buffeting my little plane about... Staying low and under the clouds trying to find a safe route... Not far now... Made it, decending to the runway... Fighting a cross wind... ...all the way down... Touch-down - made it! Better get it tied down quick in case the winds picks up some more. This was an Air Hauler fight I done yesterday. Not the best plane in my fleet for the job, but it was a really enjoayble flight in the Tecnam, top marks to Anthony worth every penny.
macca22au
Great pics. But I would agree. The tiger country between Port Macquarie and Armidale is no place for a Sierra at 110 knots - especially in what looked like marginal VFR. On the other hand it's just game isn't it? Blitzer
Well when I set out the weather was looking quite favourable. In all the flight took about an hour to complete with the cloud increasing in the last third or so of the journey, otherwise the Sierra was a great way to enjoy the scenery. Just repeated the trip in the Duke to complete the delivery as it goes, again the weather was similar but not quite so cloudy or windy today.
