antonvs
This looks very interesting http://www.logitech.com/en-au/gaming/joysticks/devices/5855 But the price is a bit hefty. I have nothing but admiration for Logitech products having many of their products (mouses, keyboards, USB hubs) and never had an issue. They always provide good interface/driver software. Be interested to know if anyone has tied the G940 yet, cheers Anton.... Dean (PC Aviator)
$599 is RRP.. street price is much less. We offer it for $419.95 here - http://www.pcaviator.com.au/store/product.php?productid=18514 It is a solid unit and of course it has the force feedback on the stick, which is getting harder to find these days. Sifor
I recently purchased one for around $425 on the Gold Coast. Simply put, it's excellent. The force feedback is fun, although if you're flying a military jet it's very annoying when performing sharp maneuvers. The split throttle is a handy feature and the rudder pedals are very solid and don't move around. The button lights located on the throttle don't change colour as far as I can tell, they remain green. Not sure what to do there, but it doesn't bother me anyway. The trim wheels on the joystick are useful, however FSX doesn't have aileron or rudder trim axises, only elevator. Bit disappointing, but not Logitech's fault. All in all I highly recommend it considering you're getting rudder pedals as well.
