realatp
I'm looking for a freeware program that will tell me exactly what hardware is in my computer. I need to know the names of the Manufacturers as well, reason; its because I want to overclock my PC again and I need to know the Default values of my Ram Timing, but I hvae forgotten exactly what RAM I have. peterhayes
Real The other freebie is "Belarc Adviser", that gives all software and drivers too. PeterH
Maurice_King
System Information for Windows from Gabreil Topala is IMHO one of the BEST utilities for this and it's free. Download SIW
BennyHill
Real The other freebie is "Belarc Adviser", that gives all software and drivers too. PeterH I agree with Peter and use Belarc Advisor. It will give you all software versions on your PC, all Service Pack details and even decode your Windows Validation details and report back the original Product ID. All hardware is described and the drivers (and their version number) associated with the hardware. Its a complete package - and as Peter says - its also free. Just Google "Belarc Advisor". Oh, nearly forgot - its reports back as an HTML file.
HiFlyer
Here is another program that pretty much does all that the others do in one package and is much more user friendly. http://www.filehippo.com/download_speccy/
