The reason I am going with this system is, not only for MSFS2024, but I also edit videos so need plenty of RAM and I will be using this PC for at least the next four years, so I want to future proof as much as possible.

Now to my question . . . .  SYSTEM RAM.   I thought that getting 128GB of fast Ram would be useful, not only exceeding the 64GB ideal requirement noted by Microsoft for the new SIM, but also for video editing and the like.

However, I am seeing advice that says this amount of Ram will, to some extent, cause instability in the PC and Windows 11.   Many vendors I spoke to are recommending only up to 96GB (2 x 48GB sticks).

So I put it to the experts here . . .   what do you think?   Is there some truth in this issue?   Should I only go up to 96GB?

I really appreciate any advice or comments.   Thank you guys.

Kind regards,
