Squamish Municipal Airport – Don Patrick Field, is situated in equidistance between Vancouver and Whistler on the Sea-to-Sky Highway where the magnificent Coast Mountains meet the mouth of Howe Sound. It serves as an ideal base for adventurous pilots who love back-country flying.

 

Originally established in the 1960s primarily to support local aviation and recreational flying activities, Squamish Municipal grew steadily over time to serve as a major hub for general aviation on Canada’s West Coast.

 

Squamish Municipal is a wonderfully alive airport with Four aviation companies there, Glacier Air which focuses on flight training, rides, and private charters, Sea To Sky Air which focuses on scenic flights and seaplane tours, Black Tusk Helicopter which offers back-country drops, hut access, sightseeing tours, and finally, Blackcomb Helicopters who provide tours, utilities and heli-skiing.

 

Squamish Municipal Airport has been faithfully recreated by Burning Blue Design, undertaking an on-site visit to ensure the highest levels of accuracy.
