Piaggio: Oz style

After buying this little unit the other night, I've been putting her through her paces. Quite a special little number is my Piaggio with exceptional climb and manouverability.

But I couldn't have the old girl swanning all over the Ozzie countryside sporting a foreign rego, so I got the paint tin out and the 4" paint brush and gave her a lick of paint.

Waddya think?

We had to go up to Hervey Bay, 'cos that's where I left the paint tin from last time.

This is the before shot when we were doing a BF prior to leaving YBBN for Hervey Bay.

And After. Brindabella Executive Charter seemed just right!

Looks awesome Frank!

I have the Flying mag which is included in the screen shots of the interior and its a remarkable plane in real life. What's it like? systems? I heard this had an FMS?

Cheers

...same question really - systems ?  As I mentioned earlier I enjoyed the overall feel of freeware one . Took her up only a couple of times but enough to know if a good payware one came out I could be interested.  The paint looks good mate  :)

Guys,

I gotta say, I've not had the time to check out all the systems yet, but it has a nice FMC (easy to use buttons and easily readable) as well as a full Weather Radar.

The avionics suite is quite impressive for such a reasonably priced offering( $33.00 ozzie).

The modelling is quite nice with medium res texture sheets (2048 x 2048) and lots of nice bump maps.

The pilots are animated as well and quite life-like (which is quite a unique twist).

I've also not noticed any great performance hit with the VC or outside views (of which it has many).

The manual is very nicely presented and full of good-easy to digest info.

I honestly believe it's one of the best value-for-money aircraft (as well as the Scudera!) in my hangars at the moment.

I've uploaded the Brindabella paint to Ozx and here's the URL:

You might also note that the main pilot is myself after having blended my mush into the texture sheet...hahaha

You are right Jay, although, I bought the ERJ from Wilco and it's been a mighty bird, nice to handle, really sharp graphics and a lot of complex systems that work well and don't crash.

There really are some fantastic aircraft being modelled now at very reasonable prices.
