I was investigating the hangar to see if it was a real ladder (it is, I walked under it, superstition be damned!), and that's right when the lights kicked on inside the hangar. And that was at a different time from when the outdoor lighting came on. On purpose or not, I'm not sure, but it was a magical little touch at that moment.
