Valcor
Is Newcastle, AUS under an invasion or what? This is just north of Aeropelican coverage area. I have OZx shipping AI installed but I have never seen this many before. Is this normal amount of ships in this area? (50% ships/ferries traffic setting)
tennyson
That's a major shipping port for BHP, etc., so it may well be right. Frank

TenBlade
Looks like a WW2 convoy, did you see any periscopes?!
Hugh Johnston
Newcastle port has a pretty big line up down the coast. Whenever I go flying there is a minimum of 50 ships lined up down the coast. Quite incredible really.
Valcor
Looks like a WW2 convoy, did you see any periscopes?! Lol, no submarines, but I thought maybe I was in Normandy 60 years ago! Orders have increased of DVDs since Orbx announced their sale as the ships struggle to meet demand! Heh, if they shipped that many, they would need more ships to import all their fancy new cars! Newcastle port has a pretty big line up down the coast. Whenever I go flying there is a minimum of 50 ships lined up down the coast. Quite incredible really. Wow, impressive that OZx shipping AI mimics this so well.
sos
There are often between 50 -100 ships anchored off Newcastle, awaiting their turn to load coal.

TheAviator
Although I have not visited the area in the sim myself, I would assume that this mass of ships would be correctly placed, in fact I commend the team for making it so realistic! I used to visit Newcastle a fair bit and would enjoy counting the ships out in the deep water, I could usually count at least 10-12, sometimes more!
