Orbx Central 4.1.7 install keeps hanging

Issue:  Install software hangs. All C++ files as per central user guide (page 27) is installed. All traces of previous installations have been checked, and they are gone.

TE SoCal for X11 is my first purchase of a Orbx product and it has been a painful experience for the past 6 hours.  Now after removing all traces of Orbx Central the installer hangs.

 

So how does one provide a log file if all traces of the program have been removed?

 

Also the downloaded installer says 4.1.7 but when I did have it installed it was version 4.1.9

 

FWIW I found an older log file in my recycle bin.

Update.

 

I was able to restore the installation folders via the Recycle Bin and I now I have Orbx Central running again.  I can uninstall Orbx Central but I cannot re-install as the installer hangs.  So the original problem still exists.
