martinc
Hi folks, When people are flying in the wilds of Tassie, what charts do you use when doing your planning?. Is WAC 3556 detailed enough?. or do people use ERC low 1/2?

Tweaker
WAC should be fine for flight planning. The ERC should tell you basic boundaries and frequencies as well as ease the planning stuff by giving you bearings to/from pretty much all the major airfields. As for the hurricane lamp, I try to use one with batteries as I hate smelling fuel in the cabin And the greenies get upset when you use it to light the forrest up to see where to land!
