East to West Australia Leg17 - Hall's Creek to Fitzroy Crossing

I don't normally like to fly taildraggers but for this leg I decided to fly in the DeHavilland Beaver with the tundra wheels which I thought was fitting for the terrain.  Apart from the difficulties for taxiing it's a delight to fly.

Well this is all you get at Hall's Creek folks;

At last, it's greening up a bit as I cross the Mueller Ranges;

Short final.  Now remember its a tail-dragger John, keep the nose down until the very last minute befor touching.

Next I go to Curtin Air Base and then finish the crossing at Broome.  I imagine you'll be breathing a sigh of relief then.  I know I will! ;D
