Orbx Central will not run

  • Hi I'm having a problem getting Orbx Central to run on my computer
    computer info windows 7 home premium 64 bit sp 1 preinstalled  FSX
    I've have the first 3 prerequisite's already installed I've downloaded KB2533623 KB2999226
    and run to install them and I get not applicable to your computer
    I've downloaded the microsoft.net framework 4.7.2 and installed it and I get installation complete
    when I go into my Orbx account and go to my product Chase Plane and go to
    download via Orbx Central it comes up the address wasn't understood if I run Orbx Central it says conecting then loading flightsimulators it does not do any thing
    I did not have any problem runing VFX Central or any other fltsim products just Orbx
    I've checked my anti virus and it has not blocked it and I've also allowed it as safe software.

    Any help please

Hi,

 

From your log file it appears there is two Windows system variables that are missing. When this has occurred before, it has been due to a corrupt Windows 7 user account. Orbx Central uses %LocalAppData% and %AppData% extensively and will not function correctly without them set.

This is a complicated issue for us to troubleshoot as it involves an issue on your computer. Is it possible to create a new user account in Windows, log into it and then try to use Central?
