John York
This was the longest and most boring part of this journey to date. 477 nm of virtually unrelieved desert! Warburton looks a nice place even if it is in the middle of nowhere; Passing Lake Carnegie; I forgot how quickly it gets dark, certainly in this part of the year in Australia. It was strange, I was sitting in broad daylight doing the flight but this dusk came down very rapidly; Ok, here it is; Down safely. I'm rather proud of myself ; I'll see what Hall's Creek is like on my next leg. My goodness, that took forever even in the Tailwind! That's what comes from disciplining myself to doing the trip in light aircraft only. Still, I'm getting near the end of the journey now. John Thank you ImageShack - flawless.
