resolved Cannot upgrade TrueEarth US Oregon HD

Using Orbx Central, I see that for TE US Oregon HD there is an update to v1.1.0 available.  There is also the statement, "Update 1.1.0 is ready to install."  However, the Update button is grayed out and when I put the mouse over the button I get

 

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @wilson,

 

Do both TrueEarth Oregon HD and TrueEarth Oregon SD appear as installed in Orbx Central? If so, you can follow the steps here to resolve this issue:

1. Find your install of TrueEarth US Oregon. This will either be in <xp11>/Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_US_Oregon_TE_Custom, or if you installed it to a library, it will be <library>/Orbx TrueEarth US Oregon SD/Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_US_Oregon_TE_Custom` or <library>/Orbx TrueEarth US Oregon HD/Custom Scenery/Orbx_A_US_Oregon_TE_Custom (depending on whether you have the SD or HD version installed).
2. If you have the HD version installed, rename version.txt to version_us-oregon-hd-xp11.txt. If you have the SD version installed, rename version.txt to version_us-oregon-sd-xp11.txt.

Thanks for the suggestion, Josh.  I was trying to avoid downloading the whole thing again.  I live in remote Colorado and only have 10 Mbps download, and that's on a good day.

 

But following Ben's solution did work, so thanks for the tip.  I am going to do the same thing for Washington.
