manmau Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Operating system: Windows 10 Simulator: Prepar3d 4.5 Screenshot: Issue: Hello All, just tried the new Central App and observed two things: - the file scenery.cfg is saved in a different format - 8-bit ANSI - whereas Prepar3d saves the file in 16-bit Unicode - the Area-Definitions look like [Area.1], whereas Prepar3d saves as [Area.001], with leading Zeros. It seems that Prepar3d reads the file correct, but maybe there could be conflicts Regards Manfred
Mitchell Williamson Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Hi Manfred, Thanks for letting us know. The area definitions number should still be read by Prepar3D fine, although the file format may actually be causing some issues for non-English installs of Prepar3D. I've noted it to be investigated.
Mitchell Williamson Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Hi Manfred, This should be fixed in v4.0.6. It will save the configuration files with the encoding the file originally was.
