Patrick Scharnowski
Very nice!! The water reflections certainly don't get enough attention. You remedied that fact.
Mark Abdey
Thanks Jigsaw - pity it has a fair hit on the frames though, as it looks great.
Guest J van E
Thanks Jigsaw - pity it has a fair hit on the frames though, as it looks great. Setting water at High 2x looks great already: you won't see reflections of autogen en 3D objects, but you will see the sky and terrain (specially mountains) reflected! I have water at High 2x and still get good fps. To use water at Max and still be able to fly smoothly, you really need a $ 10K machine, I think. Mark Abdey
Mate those shots look great. I really like the reflection on the water. Rex I presume! Lynchie Thanks all - yes, Lynchee REX using 'Clear Lake' animation, and FSWC to increase the intensity of the reflection... to be honest the high reflection value work less well from a greater height as it becomes rather blocky... the REX animation is great for these inland waters though. Yeah, J van E High 2x is fine, and less taxing… Low 2x looks just a bit too flat for me.
