alan2
Taking off at O42 (forget the name) and using the widget maps to get familiar with the area I noticed Northbend. Landed there. I have little time up in the Porter and have not done STOL , so I gave it a go on landing .At the angle I was coming down I was surprised I had to put power on.... fantastic Orbx ! please ignore the colours of the rivers cheers

Dexter Dog
Wow you must have whacked on the "brakes" to get down! Really nice shots!
alan2
Yeah Rick , had plenty on time. Actually the sim started to stutter on "final" finals due to antivirus stuff I think, so it was spoiled a little bit. On that steep approach I looked at the airspeed -as you do !- and pooped myself , almost on stalling speed and had to apply extra power . More practise and then the mountains

Patrick Scharnowski
Got it ...nice plane...Thank you.... How's the activation? I heard some concerning reports about their support, one reason why I didn't buy their Cessna Skymaster yet. I'm a little careful in that respect and only really buy from developers who provide a first class service.
schugab
@patrick Activation is quite easy, but you got 3 Licence ID's and install files, one for each plane (Amphibian, Ski and Wheel).
Patrick Scharnowski
Activation is quite easy, but you got 3 Licence ID's and install files, one for each plane (Amphibian, Ski and Wheel). Probably because they used to be separate packages before getting merged into one. Thanks for the info. I'll do some more research and then make a decision.
