Arismac
Is it possibly to move such instruments as the GPS and ATC windows to a second monitor. My video card is equipped for two and of course Win 7 accommodates both screens. Thanks
Ryan Mason
Yep I have a second screen and move stuff across often, works no problem.
Arismac
I thought it was that easy too, but my instrument windows will not appear on the second screen even though the mouse pointer does. I have also moved other programs such as REX and FSE to the second screen but the FSX windows do not show up.
Guest steved
make sure you have undocked the window before dragging it across to the other screen

Maurice_King
undock move to where you want them and then redock to lock them to that monitor Arismac W7 or XP it doesn't matter they will recognise multiple monitors easily, SoftTH is a great management tool
drumsonly2002
When panning around with Track ir in the main monitor, will the undocked gauges in the second monitor remain stationary, or are they effected by the panning, even though panning done on 1st monitor. drumsonly2002
Sorry to be a pest, but using the second monitor effect FPS with FSX? In other words, does having gauges on second monitor impact frame rates? Thank you.
Arismac
I am not seeing any effect on the FPS what-so-ever. But given that I have a high end video card I may not be the one to answer this.
ravemtech
Hi Guys, I always fly a Cessna 152, and always use an extra sceen for instruments. The only problem is that every time I turn on FSX, I have to reset up the instruments which takes about 5 minutes and this is a pain in the behind. Does anyone know a way of saving this second instrument screen so that it automatically loads when starting FSX. Thanks Ravemtech

Gray
Hi guys, When you have the panels sized to what you want, move them back to main screen and then save the FLIGHT. When you load the FLIGHT again, you will find the panels are to the saved size. Then, just move them to the correct screen. Im running 3 screens to a 152 cockpit and i"m done in seconds. Arismac
I may not be the one to answer this but I have not seen any difference in FPS between one and two screens, but my video card and Win7 are designed for the job.
